Pizza Night with Dads
Thursday, October 4th
We are happy to invite all Peninsula Dads, Step-Fathers, Uncles, Grandpas and
other father figures to attend our Pizza Night with their Peninsula Student on Thursday, October 4th beginning at 6:00 pm. You will have the opportunity to learn more about our Watch D.O.G.S. Program at Peninsula. You will also learn how you can make a difference in your child’s education and their classmates’ by giving just an hour or two of your time as a Watch D.O.G. volunteer. Mrs. Debbie Horney, our school counselor, coordinates Peninsula’s Watch D.O.G. program. She will be able to assist you in completing a volunteer form, ordering a shirt and signing up on our Watch D.O.G. calendar. Talk to any man that has served as a Watch D.O.G. at Peninsula Elementary and they will confirm that they have reaped the benefits of volunteering more than they could have ever imagined! It just takes once and you’ll be hooked! Our kids love to see you on the playground, in the cafeteria, and in their classrooms!
