About Peninsula Elementary

Welcome to Peninsula Elementary

School Building Overview

Peninsula Elementary is one of 10 elementary schools in the Moses Lake School District. We serve the learning needs of children grades Preschool through 5th grade within 23 classroom settings; plus additional staff in P.E., Music, Library, Special Education, Counseling, and Instructional Coaching. In addition to our regular classrooms, we have 12 Paraprofessionals, 2 Custodians, 2 Secretaries, 4 Cooks, and 1 part-time Nurse.

Programs at Peninsula Elementary are based on assessed needs, including the district-required building plan.  Both parents and teachers have the opportunity for active involvement in program design. Needs assessments are given to both parents and staff each year for suggestions and comments. Your ideas are important and appreciated.

The academic program at Peninsula Elementary is enriched with support from the Parent-Teacher Organization, which provides financial and person-power support for student assemblies, family fun nights and visiting presenters in the areas of science, math, and the arts. Funds raised by the PTO through the annual fundraising events also support classroom materials and opportunities. Let us know if you would like to get involved!
